Application Service and Support Manager KOG

The flow computer department is an integral element within KROHNE Oil & Gas’s systems and is at the heart of the core business. Flow computing forms the primary focus for all our customers – both internal and external. With customer service and support at the forefront of its function delivering excellent system integration knowledge within the industry is standard. The department is customer facing and the image of KROHNE Oil & Gas to the world, where as a team you make the impossible, possible.

Your main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the assembly (hardware) of flowcomputers based on customer specifications.
• Responsible for the delivery and invoice process and ensure timely delivery of flowcomputers.
• Responsible for handling flowcomputers repairs.
• Giving technical advice to project management, engineering, sales and clients
• Responsible for installation of the test environment and in-house test of flowcomputers and EVHI’s
• Liaises with clients, vendors, authorities and KROHNE companies
• Participation in the establishing and continuing review of staff skills & requirements, test equipment and procedures
• Providing technical application and product support to clients worldwide
• Responsible to retain MID, CSA, PTB and other certificates up to date with product manager and supervising audits for these certificates
• Responsible for training sessions of SUMMIT Academy

Your qualifications:                                                

• Bachelor System Engineer incl. communication protocols, programming and hardware
• Strong knowledge and experience with: flowcomputers, PLC and SCADA software, computer systems/networking, field instrumentation,  communication protocols and software/programming in general
• Knowledge of CT standards and guidelines like: ISO, AGA, API, OIML
• More than 5 years in a (preferably leading) engineering role within oil and gas business
• Strong communication skills, self-supporting and independent character, with a focus on priorities and result
• Collaboration and communication skills in English and Dutch
• Mandatory requirement for travel – both national and international
